The 2800 is designed to communicate with one or more Ultra 100/200 servo drives.
It uses the Host Reference communication protocol allowing it to monitor and
display most variables associated with velocity, torque, position, and indexing.

The 2800 is fully programmable using ScreenMaker 2000D Windows based off-line software which is provided free of charge. Text, data and recipes can be combined in order to produce screens that directly correspond to the current drive application. Variables can be defined as read only or read/write with entry limit protection.

The Next and Prev keys allow the operator to navigate through 2800 screens in an order predetermined by the system programmer.

The four function keys can be redefine on each screen. Each key can be configured to manipulate variables within the drive. They can also be configured as additional screen triggers. A slip-in legend tag allows the the function keys to be custom labeled. LegendMaker software makes it easy.

Features:

80 Character (4x20) LCD, 0.19" high characters. Bright LED back light provides high contrast display. LCD contrast is adjustable from the front panel. A vacuum fluorescent version is also available

Up to 500 screen are securely stored in 98K Flash memory.

High/Low data limits eliminating the potential for erroneous data being entered.

Assignable scale value allows drive variables to be displayed in units the operator understands.

Fifteen lock codes allow individual entry fields to be selectively protected.

Dual screen triggers allow fault messages or help screens to temporarily take over the display without losing the original screen.

Communication driver is downloaded using a utility within the ScreenMaker 2000K software package.

A single 2800 can communicate with multiple drives, or using the Quartech 9120 Multiplexer, two 2800s can communicate with a single drive or multiple drives.

ScreenMaker 2000D Configuration Software

The ScreenMaker 2000D installation program is provided as a ZIP file.To download the zip file using Internet Explorer, right-click on the icon then choose Save Target As. To install the program on your computer, first unzip the file then start the .exe program from the windows RUN menu. Setup will install the program in the directory of your choice and create program links in the program manager. This program is designed to run under Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

ScreenMaker is used to download product firmware and project files you create into the 2800.

The LCD contrast can be adjusted using the keypad on the 2800.

Install_LegendMaker_V105.exe

The LegendMaker utility is used to create function key labels, printed using your ink jet or laser printer, that can be inserted into the key pocket of the 2800.

The pocket is exposed by rolling back the rubber gasket at the bottom left corner of the 2800.

It is best to apply an adhesive backed laminating film to the front and back of the label. This will add strength and provide additional moisture protection.
